A few weeks ago, I recommended a browser extension called Zhongwen, which you can use to translate Chinese characters into English on any website just by hovering over a Chinese character. Today, I’ll introduce you to another useful browser extension, that I just learned about from one of Skritter’s recent videos. LANGUAGE REACTOR

Language Reactor (used to be called Language Learning with Netflix and YouTube) is a tool you can add to your web browser. It helps you learn new languages by showing subtitles and translations on videos on both Netflix and YouTube. This tool is great for people who want to watch TV series, movies, or videos on YouTube while also getting help to understand and learn new words.

Language Reactor（曾经叫 Language Learning with Netflix and YouTube）是一个可以添加在浏览器的插件。它可以将 Netflix 和 YouTube 上的视频字幕显示为你设定的语言。如果你喜欢通过看电视剧，电影，或者油管视频学习中文，一定会非常喜欢这个工具。

Using on YouTube or Netflix:

在 YouTube 或 Netflix 的使用方法：

1. Enable the Extension: Open a video on Netflix or YouTube and enable Language Reactor.

   启用插件：在 Netflix 或 YouTube 打开视频并启用插件。

2. Dual Subtitles: The extension will display dual subtitles—one in the target language and one in your native language (or another chosen language).

   双字幕：视频中会显示双字幕—目标语言和母语（可设置目标语言和母语）

3. Hover for Definitions: You can hover over words in the subtitles to get instant translations and definitions. You can pause and explore individual words or phrases, getting translations and grammatical information.

   鼠标放置文字上显示释义：遇到生词可随时暂停视频，点击字词查看释义和例句。

4. Click to Save Words: Clicking on words allows you to save them to your vocabulary list for later review.

   单词本：单击字词可保存到单词列表中，之后可随时复习。
